New Writers Magazine to Launch
American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW), the preeminent organizationfor writers of Christian fiction, announced recently that in April it will launch a new four-color print magazine, the
ACFWJournal.
Can you imagine? A new print magazine suggests print isn't dying anytime soon.
Industry professional, Michael Ehret, has been named editor. He said, “As the editor of
ACFW Journal, my goal is to providemembers with not only an outstanding reading experience but also a tool they canuse to improve their writing, enhance their marketing efforts, and deepen theirknowledge about the industry. Even more than that, I want members to see themagazine as theirs—to participate in it and interact with it.”
The publication is accepting articles, features, and other types of submissions directly from authors, making it a unique product in theindustry—a magazine for writers, written by writers. Content for the ACFWJournal will be broken down into five main sections: Industry/Career,Marketing, Craft, The Writer’s Life, and ACFW News.
