Tending the Soul

Today marks the release of a book to which I contributed, Tending the Soul.

Hosts of the radio show, Midday Connection, pulled together a group of their guests such as Leigh McLeroy, Carolyn Custis James, and Carol Kent to create this compilation of devotionals.

For my day I chose to talk about the faith of Hagar, Sarah's slave. Each day's reading begins with scripture, followed by a short devotional, a prayer, and an application question. Topics range from mercy, forgiveness, and prayer to loneliness, courage, and creativity.
